Congratulations to Sintra. PSML, who manages major monuments in Sintra, just won last week the award as World’s Leading Conservation Company in 2013.
Parques de Sintra – Monte da Lua is world leader in conservation
Parques de Sintra – Monte da Lua is the winner of World’s Leading Conservation Company of World Travel Awards category.
Its constitution was the result of UNESCO’s classification: Sintra´s Cultural Landscape of World Heritage Site; with the aim to “bring together the institutions responsible for the protection and enhancement of the Cultural Landscape of Sintra”.
In 2012, assets under management, including Park and Palace of Pena, Chalet of the Countess d’Edla, Moorish Castle, Monserrate Palace and Gardens and the Capuchin Convent, received approximately one 1.138 million visits, more than 90% of them foreigners.
