Porto And Douro Valley – Private Tour from Lisbon (3 Days)

This special private tour service will have a duration of 3 days, covering the oldest wine region in the world, Douro Valley, and also Porto, one of the most beautiful cities on Europe, second largest in Portugal. Although the itinerary can have minor adjustments, here is the suggested route/itinerary:

• DAY 1 – Transfer from Lisbon to Porto and Afternoon Tour of Porto

This special private tour will start from Lisbon, from your hotel in the morning period 9AM and head north of the country to the famous city of Porto (around 3h drive). After arrival, drop your luggage at the hotel and head to downtown and stop for lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon visit the famous wine cellars of Porto/Gaia, close to the river and enjoy a wine cellar visit and wine tasting and one of the best wineries. Visit downtown area including the area of D. Luis Bridge, Porto Cathedral, Lello Library (one of the most famous in the world, where J.K.ROWLING inspired Harry Potter, Clerigos Tower and much more. Drop-off at your hotel in Porto and overnight in Porto.

• DAY 2 – Full-Day Tour to Douro Valley – Peso da Regua and Pinhao

Depart from Porto to the countryside, to Douro Valley, the oldest wine region in the world. Arrive at Peso da Regua and visit the sightseeing along the day and it’s beautiful landscape. Stop for lunch near the river. In the afternoon period, take a boat trip upstream from Regua to Pinhao (2h approx). Visit Pinhao and it’s famous train station, considered one of the most beautiful in the country, and optional port wine tasting. Return to Porto by car, Overnight in Porto. Pick-up and drop-off included at your hotel in Porto.

• DAY 3 – Morning Private Tour of Porto and transfer to Lisbon in the afternoon

Visit the remaining important highlights of Porto such as the coast of Porto (Foz), including also sightseeing along the west side of the city, passing by Casa da Musica, Porto Synagogue, and much more. Stop for lunch nearby the river/ocean and transfer back to Lisbon (3h drive). Drop-off at your hotel in Lisbon and end of services.

– In case your trip needs to be canceled/postponed, the customer will be able to use the full amounts paid, as credit, that can be used for any future trip, within 3 years time, according to the following policy terms. No amounts will be lost, in case you need to reschedule/postpone/cancel your trip.

* Cancellation between 365 days and 48hours before tour date: 100% of amounts paid, will be available as a future credit, to be used within 3 years time with our company, for any tours.
* Cancellation less than 48hours before tour date: no refund
* No show: no restitution / payment in full
* Tickets for Events or Attractions are non-refundable
* Airport transfers, Limousine tours, or Helicopter Tours are non-refundable after booking.
* Hotel reservations are non-refundable, unless mentioned.
* Cruise ship tours are 100% refundable anytime if for any reason cruise ship doesn’t dock in Lisbon.
* In case you are unable to travel for medical reasons, anytime and any moment, even 48h before the tour date, 100% of amounts paid, will be available as future credit, to be used within 3 years time with our company, for any tours.

* This is a special private tour service and prepared for 3 total days, from 9AM to 5PM (around 8h) each day, although, if you have shorter time, we can fit it to your needs
* This special tour service will be provided with a minivan (Mercedes Benz), or Luxury Sedan when not available up to 2 guests. More than 2 guests will always be provided a minivan for better comfort. Vehicle type, size, brand or color can never be guaranteed on our tours.
* This service requires a minimum of 2 participants to operate.
